Sewing Soiree

1 - 4:30 p.m.

Co-hosted by forty5degreesnorth (Ekalaka, MT)

Bring a sewing machine or other craft (crochet, knitting, etc.). You can work on your own project or follow along with that month's featured project! We have fabric available if needed. Come and go as you please. Featured projects below:

September 13: Helen Knott's Bloomin' Dogs and the Nine Patch Quilt Collective 2024 Sweater Weather Sampler (blocks 1 & 2 - pre-register by Sept. 5)

October 18: Melissa Mortenson's Spellbound Quilted Witch Hat & blocks 3 - 6 of the Sampler

November 8: Blocks 7 - 9 of the Sampler and others as needed to finish the quilt!

December 13: Melissa Mortenson's Snowbound Quilted Hat. 

Mondays: Sept. 16, Oct. 21, Nov. 18, & Dec. 16, 2024 

Fiber Fall

1 - 4:30 p.m.

Join us in the Central Schoolhouse at Carter County Museum (306 N Main Street, Ekalaka MT) for Fiber Fall! This program will feature workshops around fiber arts -- carding, spinning, crochet, felting, and more! Instruction begins at 1 p.m. then free work on projects after. Come and go as you please. Details and patterns will be posted on the Facebook Event Page and our Instagram Feed one week prior to the scheduled workshop. 

We are very excited to announce a partnership for this program with Kimpton Ranch Company, who is providing the wool for the workshops!
