Junior Scientist Summer Program
Join us at the museum Monday-Thursday beginning June 1, 2026 to explore subjects including astronomy, paleontology, local history, and more! These hands-on activities take place at the Central Schoolhouse at the Carter County Museum and begin at 10 a.m. Classes will last about one hour.
The Summer 2026 schedule will be posted in May.

Join Pat Rouane, Certified Instructor, for a morning of indigenous games at Carter County Museum. Includes a make your own game craft.
July 24 - Sister Museum SCIFriday with Museum of the Rockies
1 - 3 p.m.
Join us for our annual Sister Museum SCIFriday with Museum of the Rockies! Activity led by CCM Museum Educator Claire Jorgensen and the MOR team.
August 7 - Fairgrounds SCIFriday
Noon
Takes place at the Carter County Fairgrounds after the pet parade. Activities include Dinosaur Ice Cream and more!
