Join the Carter County Museum staff for a Star Party at Medicine Rocks State Park! The parties will be May 23 and August 29, 2019 from 9-12 p.m. Free and open to the public, come and go as you please. Camping is available at Medicine Rocks as well: http://stateparks.mt.gov/medicine-rocks/.
9 pm: An hour of programming including craters, auroras, UV experiments, telescopes (guest are encouraged to also bring their own), and a presentation of deep space objects in the night sky.
10 pm: Sky Watch Live- an hour and a half interpretive and interactive constellation and star presentation of Montana’s night sky.
11:30 pm: a half hour more of programming as listed above.
